The Downtown Farmers Market is a local growers market,
featuring fresh produce from over 70 Utah farmers. In addition to the produce,
a variety of fresh baked breads and pastries, cheese, meat and seafood,
jams and honeys, house and garden plants, arranged planters,
and numerous handmade arts & crafts can be found at the Market.

The Downtown Rising Office, located at 120 South Main, is open for business! The Downtown Rising Office is home to the offices of Bill Knowles, construction ombudsman, staff from the Salt Lake City Building Inspection department and also showcase the more than 40 commercial, mixed-use and residential development projects currently underway in downtown Salt Lake City.

This office is an ideal location to meet with prospective clients, investors and anyone else interested in development in Salt Lake City. Meeting space for small groups is available upon request and appointments can be made by contacting Carla Wiese at 328-5043 or by email at carla@downtownslc.org

UTA has officially extended the Salt Lake Free Fare Zone to include the Intermodal Hub extension to Salt Lake Central Station.

This will apply to the new TRAX stops: Planetarium, Old GreekTown and Salt Lake Central. The buses that serve 200 South at Salt Lake Central Station will also be included in the Free Fare Zone.

The Free Fare Zone extends West of 400 West on 200 South only. Other existing borders of the zone remain unchanged. This change is effective April 26, 2008.

The Nomadic Project comes to SLC! The creators of this truly unique body of artwork, award-winning visual artist Kristin Abraham and musician Alfonso Llamas, traveled nearly 63,000 miles visiting every state in the U.S. to create art and music inspired by each place.

You are invited to a special opening reception at Caffe Molise on Sunday, June 1st from 2-5 pm. There will be a feast for the eyes, ears, appetite. Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit Art Works for Kids.
